The death has occurred of Sister Carmel O’Reilly, Borris, Co Carlow / Carlow Town, Carlow / Drumcondra, Dublin.

Sister Carmel O’Reilly, formerly Woodlawn Park, Borris, Lower Staplestown Road, Carlow and Drumcondra, Dublin, died peacefully on 15th October 2026, in the loving care of Beechwood Nursing Home, Leighlinbridge, in her 95th year. Predeceased by her brother Patrick and sister-in-law Miriam. Dear aunt of Sharon, Carol, Mark and Greg. Sadly missed by all her family, cousins, relatives, old neighbours and friends.

Reposing in R Healy & Son Funeral Home, Pollerton Castle, Carlow, on Sunday, 18th Oct 2026, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be on Monday at 10:00 am in the Cathedral of the Assumption, Carlow. Interment afterwards in St. Mary’s Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Frank Hynes, Cournellan, Borris, Co Carlow.

Frank died peacefully on 13th October 2026 in the care of St Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny. Sadly missed by his loving wife Kathleen. Predeceased by his parents Peter and Alice, his brothers and sisters John, Mick, Bridget, May, Kathleen, Alice, Peter, Willie, Pat and Martin. Deeply regretted by his wife and brothers Joe, Jim, Christy, Eamonn, Kevin and Ollie, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, many friends and kind neighbours.

Reposing at Joyce’s Funeral Home, Borris, on Thursday 15th October 2026 from 4:00 pm concluding with prayers at 8:00 pm. Removal from his home on Friday morning, 16th October 2026, to arrive at the Sacred Heart Church, Borris (R95 H336) at 12:00 noon for Funeral Mass, followed by interment in Ballymurphy Cemetery (R95 HR28).

Breda passed away peacefully on 4th October 2026 in her 90th year, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her beloved husband Stan, sisters Carmel and Marian. Sadly missed by her loving son Andrew, daughter Tracy, son-in-law Scott, brothers Matt and Paddy, sister Nancy, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family.

Samantha passed away on 3rd October 2026, in the care of Waterford University Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
