Galway (Newhouse, Thomastown, Co. Kilkenny and formerly of Tinnecarrig, Ballymurphy, Co Carlow) 26th September 2022, peacefully, in the wonderful care of the staff at Drakelands House Nursing Home, Josephine, in her 97th year, beloved wife of the late Patrick Galway, deeply regretted by her nephews and nieces, grandnephews and grandnieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing in Johnston’s Funeral Home, Kilkenny, on Tuesday, 27th September 2022, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm with Rosary at 6:00 pm. Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday morning, 28th September 2022, at 11:00 am in St Bennett’s Church, Bennettsbridge, with interment immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Formerly from Farnborough, UK. Sandra died peacefully surrounded by her family after a long battle with cancer. Pre-deceased by her husband Tony. Tom passed away suddenly while holidaying abroad. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Helen, daughter Shannon, son Ethan, grand-children Bella and Sonny, sister Ann (King), brothers Kevin and John. Son of the late Paddy and Mary Mahon, Lower Main Street, Borris, Co Carlow.

Liz O’Connor (née Byrne) from Killeens, Cork City, and originally from Borris, Co Carlow, died peacefully at home on 7th September 2022, surrounded by her loving family. Dearly beloved wife of Michael and much loved mother of Gerard, Declan and Eilish, devoted nan of Jessica, Amy, Sarah, Daniel, James and Gemma and doting great-grandnan of JJ and Rosie, dearest sister of Nan, Joe, Eamon and the late Eileen and Kathy, cousin of the late Kitty and aunt of the late Carmel. Sadly missed by her loving husband, family, brothers-in-law, especially Daniel, sisters-in-law, daughter-in-law Susan, son-in-law David, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends.
