Martha Byrne (née Kerins)

The death has occurred of Martha Byrne (née Kerins), Ballynattin, Borris, Co Carlow.

Martha died peacefully at St James’s Hospital, Dublin, on 12th November 2021. Sadly missed by her daughters Jennie and Therese, her grand-daughter Chanel, her dear friends Susie and Lilian, her extended family and all those who knew her, including staff and residents of Borris Lodge Nursing Home.

Reposing at Breen’s Funeral Home today, Sunday, 14th November 2021, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm and Monday, 15th November, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral Home private on Tuesday, 16th, with removal for Requiem Mass at 12:00 pm in the Sacred Heart Church, Borris, followed immediately afterwards by interment in the Sacred Heart Cemetery.

Tom Cummins

The death has occurred of Tom Cummins, Carlow Town / Knockmore, Ballymurphy, Borris, Co Carlow.

Tom Cummins, formerly from Knockmore, Ballymurphy, Borris, Co Carlow, died on 11th November 2021. Sadly missed by his loving brothers Willie, John, Walter and Michael, sisters Rose, Bridget and Mary, nephews, nieces, in-laws, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Joyce’s Funeral Home, Borris, from 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm on Sunday, 14th November 2021. Tom’s Funeral will arrive at St Patrick’s Church, Ballymurphy, for Requiem Mass at 12:00 noon on Monday followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.

Martin Doyle

The death has occurred of Martin Doyle, Kilcoltrim, Borris, Co Carlow

Martin passed away peacefully on 7th November 2021 in the loving care of Borris Lodge Nursing Home. Predeceased by his brothers John and Paddy, his sisters Lil and Kathleen (McGrath) and also his brother-in-law Denis and sister-in-law Babs. Much loved uncle of Madge, Eddie, Rena, Dolphie, Colm, Denise, Patricia, John, Martin and Ken. Deeply regretted by his grandnieces and grandnephews, relatives, kind neighbours and many friends.

Rest In Peace

Reposing at his nephew Ken’s home from 5:00 p.m. today, Monday, 8th November 2021. Prayers at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, 9th November 2021. Requiem Mass on Wednesday at 12:00 noon in the Sacred Heart Church, Borris, followed by interment immediately afterwards in the Sacred Heart Cemetery. Martin’s funeral will take place in accordance with the HSE guidelines.

Jean Foot (née Knott)
November 2, 2021

The death has occurred of Jean Foot (née Knott), Borris, Co Carlow.

Jean passed away on 2nd November 2021 after a short illness. Sadly missed by her adoring husband Desmond, daughter Melanie, sons Neil and Clive, (predeceased by her son Trevor), son-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, relatives, friends and carers.

Service of Thanksgiving will take place for Jean at Grange Sylvae Church, Goresbridge, on Saturday, 6th November 2021 at 11:30 am followed by cremation at Mount Jerome at 3:00 pm.
