The death has occurred of Tim (Timothy) O’Mahony, Kilkenny / Ballynagrane, Borris, Co Carlow
On 17th January 2023, Tim died peacefully, as he had lived, surrounded by his loving family, in the wonderful care of the nursing team at Tinnypark Nursing Home, Kilkenny. With special thanks to Dr Cotter and the Nursing Care Team at the Acute Stroke and Surgery-3 Wards at St Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny, for their kind care of Tim during his final stay at the hospital.
Beloved husband of Helen, cherished father of Marie and grandfather of Scarlet. He will be sadly missed by relatives, friends and neighbours.

Funeral Mass on Friday, 20th January 2023, at 11:00 a.m., in St Patrick’s Church, Ballymurphy, Co Carlow (R95 HR28), followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.

Eileen Doran, Mohullen

The death has occurred of Eileen Doran (née Wallace), Mohullen, Ballymurphy, Borris, Co Carlow / Graiguenamanagh, Co Kilkenny.
Eileen, formerly of Graiguenamanagh, Co Kilkenny, died peacefully on Monday, 16th January 2023, in the loving care of the wonderful staff at St Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny, surrounded by her heartbroken family. Predeceased by her husband John and three sons James, John and Eddie. Eileen will be greatly missed by her loving children, sons Mick, Robert and Christy, daughters Mary, Aine, Siobhan and Colette, daughters-in-law Mary, Ann and Kathleen, sons-in-law Pat, Jimmy, Atul and David, her 14 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, relatives and many friends.
Rest In Peace
Funeral will arrive at St Patrick’s Church, Ballymurphy, for Requiem Mass at 2:00 pm on Thursday, 19th January 2023, followed by interment afterwards in St. Mullins Cemetery.

Mary Quirke, Dunroe

The death has occurred of Mary Quirke, Dunroe, Borris, Co Carlow.
After a short illness, Mary died peacefully today, 15th January 2023. Predeceased by her parents Sonnie and Margaret and her brother Seamus. Deeply regretted by her sister Anne, brothers Eamonn, Sean, Paddy and Tom, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Joyce’s Funeral Home, Borris, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm today Sunday and from 11:00 am on Monday, concluding with prayers at 7:00 pm. Funeral will arrive at St Lazerian’s Church, Ballinkillen, for Requiem Mass at 11:00 am on Tuesday morning, followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.
