The death has occurred of Elizabeth (Liz) Kennedy (née Cummins), 1 Slieve Bloom Park, Clonaslee, Co Laois / Borris, Co Carlow.

Elizabeth (Liz) Kennedy (nee Cummins), 1 Slieve Bloom Park, Clonaslee, Co Laois and formerly of Inch, Borris, Co Carlow, passed away on Saturday, 13th July 2024, suddenly, but peacefully, at the Midlands Regional Hospital, Tullamore, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Martin and her two infant sons. Beloved mother of Liz, Jim and Martin.

Liz will be sadly missed by her heartbroken children, her daughters-in-law Mary and Lorrie, her nine adoring grandchildren Katelyn, Tiffany, Dylan, Michelle, Tara, Amy, Clodiagh, Riagain and Cliodhna, her nephew James, and her niece Anne McCusker, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing at the Heritage Centre, Main Street, Clonaslee, on Tuesday, 16th July 2024, from 3:00 pm with Rosary at 8:00 pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday morning, 17th July 2024, at 11:00 am in St Manman’s Church, Clonaslee, with interment immediately afterwards in St Manman’s Cemetery, Clonaslee. The death has occurred of Jim Treacy, 17 Oliver Plunkett Avenue, Tinnahinch, Graiguenamanagh, Co. Kilkenny, R95 X0P1.

Jim died peacefully on 8th July 2024. Sadly missed by his beloved wife Kay, son Tommy, daughter Ciara, brothers Pat, Seán and Martin, sisters Pauline, Mary, Ann and Geraldine, grandchildren James, Lily, Amy, Sadie, Ellie and Tom, daughter-in-law Ciara, son-in-law Tom, Brigid and Joanne, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at his residence (Eircode: R95 X0P1) on Tuesday, 9th July 2024 from 2:00 pm concluding at 8:00 pm and again on Wednesday, 10th July 2024 from 2:00 pm concluding at 8:00 pm. Removal on Thursday morning, 11th July 2024, to arrive at Duiske Abbey, Graiguenamanagh, for 11:00 am Requiem Mass, followed by interment afterwards in St Michael’s Cemetery, Tinnahinch.

The death has occurred of Tommy Ryan, Tomduff, Borris, Co Carlow.

Tommy died on 9th June 2024 in the loving care of the Nursing Staff at The Sacred Heart Hospital, Carlow, Pre-deceased by his brothers Michael and Sonny.

Sadly missed by his loving wife Josephine, daughters Catherine and Breda, son Sean, brother Paddy, sister Betty, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, in-laws, relatives and many friends.

John died peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on 7th June 2024. Devoted husband of Breda, loving father of Susan, Derek and John, grandfather to Alex, Stephen and Katie, and great-grandfather to Isla and Rhodri. He will be sadly missed by his brothers, sisters, friends and neighbours.
