The death has occurred of Martin Bolger, Ballytiglea, Borris, Co Carlow.

Martin died peacefully in the devoted care of St Luke’s General Hospital, Kilkenny, on 20th September 2026 surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his mother and father, Nora and Tommy, his brothers Jim and Paddy, and his sisters Mary, Stasia and Nancy. He will be forever missed by his much-loved wife Gabrielle, their sons and daughters Martin, Sharon, Lynda, Daniel, Yvonne, Jason, Tanya, Brendan and Thomas, and their husbands, wives and partners; his adored grand-children and great-grandchild; his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; his nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends .

Reposing at Joyce’s Funeral Home, Borris, Co Carlow (R95 DV76) on Tuesday 22nd September 2026 from 2:00 to 8:00 pm, pausing for prayers at 6:30 pm. Requiem Mass on Wednesday 23rd September 2026 at 11:00 am in the Sacred Heart Church, Borris, Co Carlow, followed immediately afterwards by interment in the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Kilcoltrim, Borris, Co Carlow.
