The death has occurred of Rev Fr John Cummins, Ballinakill Road, Abbeyleix, Co Laois / Newbridge, Co Kildare

Following a tragic accident. Former Administrator of Carlow Cathedral, Chaplain IT Carlow and CC Naas. Predeceased by his father Con. Deeply regretted by his loving mother Renee, brothers Con and Gary, sister Maria, sister-in-law Yvonne, niece Caoimhe, nephews Conor and Daniel, extended family, Bishop Denis Nulty and the Priests of the Diocese of Kildare and Leighlin.

Rest in Peace

Reposing in the Chapel of Adoration adjoining the Church of the Most Holy Rosary, Abbeyleix, from 4:00 pm on Friday, 1st February 2019, with removal at 6:30 pm to The Church of the Most Holy Rosary, Abbeyleix, concluding with Night Prayer at 9:00 pm. Requiem Mass on Saturday, 2nd February 2019, at 12:00 noon. Removal afterwards to his family home in Newbridge. Mass at 11:00 am on Monday morning, 4th February 2019, in St Conleth’s Parish Church, Newbridge, followed by interment immediately afterwards in St Conleth’s Cemetery, Newbridge.
