Coonogue, Ballymurphy, Borris, Co Carlow

The death has occurred of Mary Redmond (née Flood), Coonogue, Ballymurphy, Borris, Co Carlow, (formerly of Walshestown). Mary died peacefully on the 8th February 2018 in the compassionate care of Helen and the staff of Borris Lodge Nursing Home, Dr Michael Byrne, and her devoted family. Predeceased by her loving husband Martin in 1981. Deeply regretted by her loving daughters Bessie (Maher), Hannah (Fitzpatrick), Ann (Doyle) and Mary (O’Donnell), sons Jim, John, Tom and Martin, 35 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, relatives and many friends.

Reposing at Breen’s Funeral Home, Borris, Co Carlow, today, Friday, 9th February, from 6.00 pm to 9.30 pm and on Saturday, 10th February, from 12.00 noon to 9.30 pm with prayers at 8.00 pm.  Funeral Home private, family only, on Sunday, 11th February. Removal on Sunday to St Patrick’s Church, Ballymurphy, Borris, Co Carlow, for Requiem Mass at 2.00 pm with interment immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
