The death has occurred of Christy Murphy, Clonagoose, Borris, Co Carlow.

Peacefully, at St Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny, on 19th August 2020. Christy will be sadly missed by his loving wife Nora, daughters Mary, Ann and Margaret, son Simon, sons-in-law Derek and David, his grandchildren, his sister Marcella, nephews, nieces, relatives and many friends.

In line with Covid-19 restrictions, a private wake will take place for relatives and close friends at Breen’s Funeral Home, Main Street, Borris, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, 20th August 2020. Funeral will arrive at The Sacred Heart Church, Borris, on Friday, 21st August 2020, for Requiem Mass at 2:00 pm, followed by interment immediately afterwards in The Sacred Heart Cemetery, Borris.

Due to Government guidelines, a maximum of 50 people only can enter the Church, but people can enter the Churchyard/Graveyard while observing social distancing.
